Neutrals with Texture

I do love color but sticking with winter whites and neutrals can give a very classic feel to any look. When doing this, I like to pair texture with the look and I am going to share a look you can shop right now and have in time for all of your holiday shin-digs.

My winter white corduroy’s are high waisted and wide leg. Two of my favorite combinations. These come up very high (the higher the better) on my waist and are the perfect length. I am 5’3 (thats pushing it)  and they hit the floor perfectly when I paired them with a smaller heal.

Adding a form fitting cowl neck, light weight sweater on top, I tucked it in because showing off the high waist look is very flattering. This olive  green is one of my favorite colors all year round and falls perfectly into the “neutral” pallet.

I have about 20 fur vest (not kidding) and with this look I decided to pair it with a shorter version. This way it did not get lost in the wide leg pant and created a stopping point for my waist.

Finishing it all off with a nude/gray pump that has a square heal and a pointy toe. Very comfortable and again was in the family of the neutrals.

Adding texture to any outfit can give the outfit a littler personality and in this instance a little but of a “wintery” type feel.

Try the look and let me know what you think!
