Taking Care of Business

I spend most of my days in spandex, yes.

I spend most of my days jamming to some good beats and encouraging people to crush goals, yes.

BUT… there are days that I have meetings or events that call for something a little different then spandex and a sports bra. I am a girl who loves fashion so I do enjoy putting on “real people clothes” and taking my hair out of a ponytail from time to time.

With all of that said I love a good sweater dress this time of year. It is the perfect transitional piece as we are full swing into fall.  You can dress it up with some heels or pair it with some boots making it a bit more casual . I have linked a few below that new to this season and ones that have found there way into my shopping bag for sure.

Check them out and let me know what you think!

In my Shopping Bag:

  1. Auburn Sweater Dress – I love the long sleeves on this dress. I do think this style is best paired with a higher heel due to where it hits the leg.  This will dress it up a bit and give it a more fancy feel.  Pair it with a fur coat as the temperatures get even colder.
  2. Knitted Mini Dress Ripple–  This is listed as “petite” so keep that in mind when order and possibly order a size up! The lines and seems in this dress is what drew me to it. Giving this dress a very flattering look on all body types. Add a great over the knee boat to this one and you are set to go.
  3. Ribbed Button Front- This one is very similar to the one I am wearing. I love the added  detail of the buttons.
  4. Knit Tank Dress – This one is very transitional from season to season. If its warmer wear it solo. If it is a little cooler add a long cardigan to the look like I did.

You can not go wrong with any of these and the best part about this style is it has been around for awhile. So whatever dress or dresses you decide on you can plan to pull it out next season too!
