Do you even Barre Bro?

Hey, it’s me. Yup, just KelBel over here trying to convince you that Barre is the secret weapon of workouts and one of my absolute favorites!

I know what you are thinking…

  1. You just don’t do barre.  Its not your thing.
  2. I am not a ballerina.
  3. You arent graceful enough.
  4. I don’t like to dance.
  5. You’ve never done it.
  6. What is it exactly, like what do I do?

Did  I hit them all? Probably not, but I have heard all of’em multiple times. And thats ok. Its ok if you do not know what you are walking into and you arent completely convinced. I just want you to TRY it with me and see what you think.

Here is the breakdown. First thing to note, I teach a much more athletic approach to barre then some may be used to. I have been told that it almost feels like a HIIT workout mixed with Barre. We use small weights and do a TON of reps and pulses. Just enough to get you screaming that you hate me but then LOVE the results. It makes you feel strong, long, lean and like your entire body just got an awesome workout in a short amount of time. Give me 45 minutes!

Here is what you need:

  1. A workout mat
  2. Small weights (2lb, 3lb, 4lb size)
  3. A stretchy band
  4. Something to use for balance and I will even link the weighted barre that I love (but you can always substitute this with a golf club, lacrosse stick, broom, chair, etc.)

My challenge to you. JOIN ME. Just try it once and then you can decide… yup I hate it or nope I actually am into this! But I simply ask that you give it a whirl and see for yourself.
