It is C-O-L-D here in Baltimore forcing a lot of INDOOR workouts. I do love an outside COLD run… I know I am crazy… but for those of you who need warmth indoors, here is your taste of Treadmill Tuesday.

The Workout

Warmup

Walk for 2 mins – brisk pace (3.0 speed or higher)

Warm up jog – 1 min at 5.5 speed – 1 min at 6.0 speed – 1 min at 7.0 speed

1 min prep – step off and do your thing to prepare yourself for the workout ahead (stretch, walk, whatever you need).


Round One

Incline Set @ 1

9.5 speed – 30 seconds SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

9.7 speed – 30 seconds SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

9.9 Speed – 30 seconds SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

Repeat 3X


Round Two

Incline Set @ 3

9.5 speed – 30 Seconds SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

9.7 speed – 30 seconds SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

9.9 Speed – 30 seconds SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

Repeat 3X


Round Three

Incline Set @ 1

10 speed – 30 Seconds SPRINT

30 seconds step off and REST

Repeat 3X


1 Minute Walk

Round Four

9.5 Speed — INCLINE .5 — 30 second SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

9.5 Speed — INCLINE 3 — 30 second SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

Repeat 3X


Round Five

Incline Set @ 1

10 speed — INCLINE 1 — 30 second SPRINT

30 seconds OFF

Repeat 3X


Cool Down Walk
