This one is a test to your endurance and speed. It challenges you to ramp up your speed and then bring it back down only to ramp it right back up again. I also challenge you with increasing your incline while you are still running. Try it out and tell me what you think!

Snow days seem to be a common thing around these parts recently. If you are like me, sometimes it’s struggle city to figure out what to wear on days like these. I would like to tell you that we are almost out of the woods for the cold… But I think here in Baltimore, we have a good month and half left.
I will admit, sitting on the sofa and just finding time to “lounge” is tough for me. Always, I find myself doing something or better yet, looking for something to do. I am not and never will be someone who will feel comfortable sitting on the sofa for hours on hours. Its just not me.
Valentines day means different things for different people. Based on where you are in life and what your plans are for that evening – I got you covered! Below are a few different three different looks for some inspiration depending on what type of night you have planned!
Love or hate Valentines day is here and this is how I look at it…
Core work is often over looked and rushed through at the end of a workout. I will admit, I used to do it. It was the end of a long workout and I just wanted to be done but I knew I need to focus a little on my core.
But… that is not going to get you anywhere. You have to work at them just like everything else. What you put in is what you are going to get out of them. And no, you can not just do a ton of abs in the gym and expect to have a chiseled 8 pack. There is also work to be done outside of the gym with proper nutrition.. and some running in there does not hurt.
Just keep in mind that having a strong core is so very important for more reasons then just <you want a good looking stomach> but, lets be serious thats why I do ab work!
Here is a little series me and my teammate Alley Carey like to do together (she introduced this one to me and man its a good one!)
Set your watch or phone some place you can easily see it. Grab anything from a five to ten pound weight. You will be working consistently for a total of five minutes.
Start Your Timer:
Forearm Plank – Hold for 30 seconds
Russian Twist with Weight- For 30 seconds
Repeat this series 5X total (Taking you to 5 minutes total of work)
Add this to your routine and trust me you will start to see and FEEL some differences!
XOXO

I run and I love to run. But Saturdays are different for me. Saturday’s are my “lets see what I got” days.
It is C-O-L-D here in Baltimore forcing a lot of INDOOR workouts. I do love an outside COLD run… I know I am crazy… but for those of you who need warmth indoors, here is your taste of Treadmill Tuesday.
I am strong believer that you “need” certain staples in your wardrobe for each season. A white oversized turtleneck sweater is one of those. Believe it or not I NEEDED one this winter so I went hunting. This one I found is listed as a dress on Amazon, but trust me, unless you are going to size way up… just go true to size and rock it as a sweater. (If white is not your thing, don’t worry it comes in tons of colors.)
I am a bargain shopper – or I should just say I am sucker for a good deal. So, when I saw a few blogs and saw a bunch of posts about this famous “Warmest Jacket Ever, under $130.00 Amazon Coat” … I had to see for myself. So I bought it.
