Maxi Romper TRANSITION PIECE

This time of year is tough. The calander tells us it is fall… but in Baltimore it is still in the high 80’s. Even if you live some place that does not have these higher temperatures, it is still is that time of year that screams TRANSITION. So, as I shop… [ because, well that is what I love to do ] … I try to keep that word at the front of my brain. TRANSITION PIECES ONLY.

So, when I initially found this cute “thing” I am pictured in, it seemed like it was just as confused as to what it was made for as I was when I looked at it. Summer or fall? Making it one of the many, perfect transition pieces. This half romper, half maxi dress seems to be all the rage and one that you can find a use for in both the summer and fall which makes me ALL IN!

Things to keep in mind:

Add a jean jacket. Thats always my motto these days but when temps. drop it makes everything transition perfectly.
Wear this with booties or wedges to match the look you are going for.

Lastly, whichever look you go for, keep in mind a more neutral pallet is best. Bright colors scream summer so when you stay more neutral its easier to transition.
