As the weather in Maryland try’s to make up its mind we have to play around with the in-between style look. It can get tough when it is chilly in the morning, hot and humid in the afternoon and rainy and windy in the evening. Not to mention the air conditioning is still blasting in your office (not that I know because I don’t work in an office, but this is what my office friends tell me).
The solution- a cute maxi dress! Add a sweater or a jean jacket and you are all set!

A long maxi is one of many perfect transitional pieces. Its cute, so easy and you can mix and match it in so many ways. Here you see me pair it with a jean jacket and a simple flip flop but you can always match it with a sweater or a cardigan and add a little height with a wedge. This will give it a bit more dressy vibe.
The maxi is also one of my favs because you can get away with it anywhere. A Saturday to run errands and grab brunch – A hump day vibe at the office (only if appropriate obvi) – and it is the best travel piece to wear or pack. So many options and you look put together immediately.
Now, if only everyone could have a sidekick like Remy to complete the look:)
