Even though it is nowhere close to summer yet I still like to day dream about all the white, light, breezy looks that will be coming our way in no time. With that said, in this version of [build you own outfit] I decided to pair all the neutrals together, winter style. An outfit you can build with all the things you may already own… or if you are missing anything, I have the hook up for you.

Things to remember not only just in the New Year but the entire year:
I am not a resolution girl… and the question, “where do you see yourself in a year… five years… ten years… ” really isnt one of my favorites. It’s just not my thing to try and plan that far out. It makes me anxious to be honest and I like to think that there is a plan in everything and to trust it. If I stick to my values it will turn out the way it should.
I recently came across an adorable leather pencil skirt that I couldn’t pass up. With that said I have told myself whatever I purchase these days need to be considered a good “staple piece”. Something that I can wear to multiple places and style a few different ways! This was one I quickly convinced myself fell into that category.
Cheetah print, leopard print, animal print… I don’t really care what you call it. IT IS IN and I LOVE IT. I know I know, it has been popular and “IN” for a little bit now, BUT I have noticed it more and more and adding it to any outfit is ALWAYS a good idea.
I live in athletic clothing <you guys know this>… and specifically in spring I find myself really loving the sporty and living in it even when I am not headed too or from work. It’s easy. It looks cute and even though your are comfortable you look stylish and put together. The Bomber Jacket leads the charge on this look. You can wear it with leggings, jeans or even a jersey dress. Its a staple and one that every girl needs in their closet.
The one I have on in this picture is unfortunately no longer available but I have picked four other of my favorites all different but still have similar style. You will love’em. Promise.
Athleta Bomber – I love how the bright white for spring and the way this one hugs at the top of your hips. The detail of the buttons on the side and how the big waistband allows the fabric to balloon in the back is flattering for all body types.
Nylon Bomber Jacket – Everyone needs this one. Classic black. You can wear it sporty or add jeans to it and give it a more upscale look. It also comes in green if you are looking for a pop of color. ON SALE Under $35.00
Floral Color Block Bomber Jacket – Similar to the pattern I have on in the picture, this pop of color along with the floral pattern really allows this to be a great transitional piece.
Flight Jacket Bomber – I LOVE the fit of this jacket. The detail of the more industrial zipper and perfectly placed pockets add to it all. Three great color options, you can’t go wrong with any. Highly recommended.
XOXO, Kel.

Snow days seem to be a common thing around these parts recently. If you are like me, sometimes it’s struggle city to figure out what to wear on days like these. I would like to tell you that we are almost out of the woods for the cold… But I think here in Baltimore, we have a good month and half left.
Everything fur, always seems to be my motto for this winter season. Jackets, scarfs, detail with fur on anything – I am sold!
So, when I came across this jacket I jumped on it right away. I fell in love with the character that the “patchwork style” added to the look of the jacket. Unfortunately, I purchased this one early in the season and it has sold out since (I will keep you posted if they restock it, don’t worry). BUT I have done the research for you and picked many of my other favorites that have the same idea with adding the patchwork to the look. Check them out and let me know what you think!
// Faux Fur Patched Cropped Coat //
This one is very similar to mine with similar colors and style of patchwork. It is on the shorter side and has a hood which I love. (Under $50.00)
// All White Faux Fur Patchwork Coat //
I love this one because it adds the texture in all the right places. It is all one color but with the patchwork allows the jacket to have a unique look and let the texture do the talking.
// Chevron Faux Fur Coat //
I love everything chevron and when you add it to a jacket it screams fun. The fur on this jacket is rich and the color choices give you so many options on what to pair it with!
// Brown Chevron Fur //
Another chevron look but this one has a similar color pallet to the one I am pictured in. I also love the shorter style allowing it to hit right at your waist.
// Patchwork curly Faux Fur Cropped //
This one adds color to the mix and gives a different texture to the fur look. Its fully stocked in all sizes and will carry you right through spring with this color scheme.

I don’t hate the winter. Most people do but I actually love snow and maybe because I played and coached outside for so many years (and each winter felt worst then the last) I only hate the cold if I am not dressed properly. So, thats a simple thing to fix to me… get a grip on cold, winter fashion and style up!
I have always been into the blazer look and this season it seems to be a real hit. I know when most people hear blazer they think “businesslike” suits and a more “fancy” type job.
