Give me all the STRIPES

I am all about matching. When I was in college I matched all of my ribbons to my uniforms. My headbands must match my workout outfit. And these stripes, well, they match that #summerfeel. I think this look has always been popular. Actually, I know it has been popular. I can remember I had a blue and white striped button down polo shirt in middle school, and yes, of course I was cool [or at least I thought so]. What am I getting at? These stripes scream summer and they are classic! They look good on everyone and they just give you that light crisp feel through the hot weather.

This jumpsuit in particular gives me all the summer feels. I love the cut out and the illusion that its a two piece set. I don’t typically love strapless but this one offers a strip of a sticky material on the inside of the top seam to help keep the top up [trust me, you don’t even notice it]. Toss it on with a pair of nude heels and a cute clutch and you are ready for that summer cocktail party!

Incase this is not your look, I am sharing some other looks that share that classic ‘blue and white’ stripe style. 

Striped Paperbag Cut off Shorts –  I love the highwaist look on anything but especially on a pair of shorts. I feel that it just give shorts a bit more of a classy, dressed up look. (UNDER $20.00)

Button Front Camisole – The perfect style top for a hot summer day. It pairs with anything and the look is so effortless.

Cover Up Maxi- I live for a good maxi in the summer and the blue and white stripe + the POCKETS make this one a must have! (Use it as a cover up or a easy breezy Saturday look)

Off the Shoulder Striped Shirt – I love the ruffles, I love the off the shoulder, I love the coloring… it is the perfect summer party shirt!

I know I share A LOT of jumpsuits. Trust me, I have had the talk with myself about branching out… but I just can not get away from them. They feel like they fit every occasion! Since the styles and patterns seem to be endless it feels like the options can go on and on forever.

The color that works in every season

If something comes in that, olive, army green color I am sold.

I have shared my love for this olive green color before and when I started to pull all of my spring jackets to the front of my closet <in hopes for warmer weather to come> I quickly noticed my love for this color was clear. So, the way my mind works is if I love something, I want to share the love with you and help you shop a spring jacket that will work perfect … in that favorite olive green color of course!

Patchwork Added

Everything fur, always seems to be my motto for this winter season. Jackets, scarfs, detail with fur on anything – I am sold!

So, when I came across this jacket I jumped on it right away. I fell in love with the character that the “patchwork style” added to the look of the jacket. Unfortunately, I purchased this one early in the season and it has sold out since (I will keep you posted if they restock it, don’t worry). BUT I have done the research for you and picked many of my other favorites that have the same idea with adding the patchwork to the look. Check them out and let me know what you think!

// Faux Fur Patched Cropped Coat //
This one is very similar to mine with similar colors and style of patchwork. It is on the shorter side and has a hood which I love. (Under $50.00)
// All White Faux Fur Patchwork Coat //
I love this one because it adds the texture in all the right places. It is all one color but with the patchwork allows the jacket to have a unique look and let the texture do the talking.
// Chevron Faux Fur Coat //
I love everything chevron and when you add it to a jacket it screams fun. The fur on this jacket is rich and the color choices give you so many options on what to pair it with!
// Brown Chevron Fur //
Another chevron look but this one has a similar color pallet to the one I am pictured in. I also love the shorter style allowing it to hit right at your waist.
// Patchwork curly Faux Fur Cropped //
This one adds color to the mix and gives a different texture to the fur look. Its fully stocked in all sizes and will carry you right through spring with this color scheme.

Canada Goose Jacket

I don’t hate the winter. Most people do but I actually love snow and maybe because I played and coached outside for so many years (and each winter felt worst then the last) I only hate the cold if I am not dressed properly. So, thats a simple thing to fix to me… get a grip on cold, winter fashion and style up!
