White is my jam in the summer. I love a white dress, a white jumpsuit, a white romper, white jeans, a white tank or blouse. A good pair of white shorts are the perfect match for when I want to go more casual.
I am all about matching. When I was in college I matched all of my ribbons to my uniforms. My headbands must match my workout outfit. And these stripes, well, they match that #summerfeel. I think this look has always been popular. Actually, I know it has been popular. I can remember I had a blue and white striped button down polo shirt in middle school, and yes, of course I was cool [or at least I thought so]. What am I getting at? These stripes scream summer and they are classic! They look good on everyone and they just give you that light crisp feel through the hot weather.
This jumpsuit in particular gives me all the summer feels. I love the cut out and the illusion that its a two piece set. I don’t typically love strapless but this one offers a strip of a sticky material on the inside of the top seam to help keep the top up [trust me, you don’t even notice it]. Toss it on with a pair of nude heels and a cute clutch and you are ready for that summer cocktail party!
Incase this is not your look, I am sharing some other looks that share that classic ‘blue and white’ stripe style.
Striped Paperbag Cut off Shorts – I love the highwaist look on anything but especially on a pair of shorts. I feel that it just give shorts a bit more of a classy, dressed up look. (UNDER $20.00)
Button Front Camisole – The perfect style top for a hot summer day. It pairs with anything and the look is so effortless.
Cover Up Maxi- I live for a good maxi in the summer and the blue and white stripe + the POCKETS make this one a must have! (Use it as a cover up or a easy breezy Saturday look)
Striped Short Sleeve Button Down – This look is so in and the blue and white stripe give it that classic feel. (UNDER $15.00)
Off the Shoulder Striped Shirt – I love the ruffles, I love the off the shoulder, I love the coloring… it is the perfect summer party shirt!
OTHER STRIPED LOOKS:
I know I share A LOT of jumpsuits. Trust me, I have had the talk with myself about branching out… but I just can not get away from them. They feel like they fit every occasion! Since the styles and patterns seem to be endless it feels like the options can go on and on forever.
OUTFIT DETAILS: GREEN TROPICAL ROMPER (UNDER $20.00) | SANDALS | JEAN JACKET (I WEAR THIS WITH EVERYTHING) | STRAW BAG (THE ONE PICTURED IS LAST YEARS VERSION SO I HAVE ADDED THIS YEARS VERSION FOR YOU)
I live for a good romper. More than anything, I love it even more when it takes me to a place, like a tropical island the second I put it on. In my opinion this is the perfect little romper to take on your next vacation… or just rock it all summer in the summer heat! The halter look with the low back and this green color is so in right now.
Below I have picked a few other Tropical Style rompers if you’re in the market. I am planning on putting a few more of these in my closet this summer, no doubt!
A few Romper options:
Leaf Print Halter Romper – (PICTURED BELOW) Only a few sizes left so grab it now! I love the low back detail and the ruffles around the leg. You can not beat this price either! (UNDER $20.00)
Tropical Floral Cami Romper- I love yellow and this simple style gives this one a pass to wear anywhere. You know the drill… add a jean jacket and you are good to go.
Floral Print Romper- If you prefer thicker straps and bit more support up top, this is a great pick for you. (Under $20.00)
Wrap Skirt Romper- Very similar to the one I am pictured in sharing the same green color. I also love the look of a wrap skirt and not just shorts.
Floral Print Cover Up- This one is considered a “cover up” but I think I could easily wear it anytime. I love the pretty tie back detail and it offers a bit more coverage on your backside if you are someone who prefers a longer short style.

Are high waters back in style? Well, my answer… I’m not sure.
When I originally put this jumpsuit on… I thought to myself… [There is no way I am too tall for this jumpsuit, that is NEVER the case, there must be something wrong]… but then after checking out how the model was wearing it I realized this was how it was supposed to fit. I loved the material, the fit, the style.and the entire look. However, I was not sold on the “shorter pants” look. I decided to play around with the look a little before I tore off the jumpsuit and put it in the NO pile. I strapped on a high pair of platforms and added a belt. BOOM! I totally fell in love with it.
I am still not convinced the “urkel style” is back in necessarily. If you style it the correct way and add some height with a good pair of shoes you are on the right path of rocking the look well. Either way, I say check this jumpsuit out because it is one of my top picks for this season!
Happy Tuesday Friends.

Looking for options for Happy Hour?
Denim, denim, denim. Its classic. It never will go out of style … so why not turn it into a jumpsuit to make it that much better. Now, I will say I have seen some pretty tacky denim jumpsuits that I am totally not a fan of. I have done my research though and have picked a few (all shapes and sizes) and I have faith you will find one in the mix you could pull off. Because, like I said… denim is C-L-A-S-S-I-C. Anyone can rock it and it never goes out of style.
[PICTURED] Strapless Chambray Wide Leg Jumpsuit- THIS ONE IS STILL IN STOCK. Grab it while it is still available. It is some comfortable and can easily be dressed up or worn more casual. Under $25.00 and perfect as we move into warmer temps!
Ruffles Sleeveless Jumpsuit – An Amazon find and I love how this adds ruffles in to give it more gentle feel. An amazing price as well that you can not beat! (Under $20.00)
Cutout Denim Jumpsuit – On the more expensive side but the perfectly placed cutouts drew me to this jumpsuit right away!
Wide-Leg Utility Jumpsuit- This one gives a bit more coverage because it is short sleeve… but, still gives your body shape because of the added drawstring at the waist.
Overalls in Denim – Yes, they are coming back and yes, I am a fan.
Sleeveless, square neck romper- If you are not into the jumpsuit and would prefer a romper style here is your pick. Perfect for the warmer weather and to take you right into summer in style.

I was not always sold on this look… until I put it on.
YOU. NEED. THIS. JUMPSUIT.
I will go into depth about why I love this style of jumpsuit and the reason I believe this trend is one of the best… BUT FIRST, I want to give credit to the jumpsuit I am actually pictured in. I loved it initially on the website, but you never know how it will turn out once you get it. The price (Under $25.00) and the stripped pattern jumped out at me right away and I thought the cut out detail was adorable! So, I took a chance and ordered it. Well, as soon as I received it and put it on I fell in LOVE. Let me list the ways…
The material has the perfect amount of stretch.
It has pockets (that don’t stick out).
It fits a smaller chested girl like myself perfectly (no bra needed).
And, I love that I can wear it from spring all the way into fall, pairing it with a cute jean jacket when needed.
It is a MUST HAVE.
Now, onto why the “cutout cami jumpsuit” look you should invest in.
- First, this look is an instant outfit. Top, bottom, all in one, done. No thinking. Just add the shoes, grab a little jacket or sweater if needed and you are good to go. (It’s the perfect item to pack for a trip. Simple.)
- Second, it gives a little away without giving it all away. The cutouts show just enough skin that it is sexy but still considered tasteful.
- Third, it is a great transition piece for right now but also a perfect summer look.
I have picked a few below that some of you may like a bit better for different reasons. Whatever the reason, I hope you find one you like, because this look is a total TREND ALERT!
Linen Cutout Jumpsuit: This mustard color is everything and I love the ruffles on the sleeve. Pair this with flats for day and a cute pair of heels for a night out! (Great Price, under $30.00)
Another Linen Cutout Jumpsuit: This one is very similar to the one I have on but it has sleeves! Brides, this would be adorable for any and all of your events you have! (BRIDE ALERT)
Cutout Side Jumpsuit: Those that are looking for a little more coverage in the front this one you will prefer. This one also falls into my BRIDE ALERT since it comes in white.
Cutout Cami Jumpsuit in SeaGreen: This one is very similar to the one I am pictured in… minus the stripes. If you are not into stripes, this one is a good choice. (UNDER $20.00)
Romper Style Cutout with Kimono sleeves: Incase you are not a jumpsuit girl I picked out a romper look that comes in an amazing spring and summer vibrant color.
Winter can be long… (like never ending) and when there is a touch of that spring feeling in the air it feels like it has been forever since any of our skin has seen the sun!
Well, since its my birthday I thought why not share with you…
